Olivia

Hi there! My name is Olivia and I am a Patient Care Representative at WomanKind Midwifery. My educational background is in Early Childhood Education and I love working with children and babies. I am currently enjoying exploring the fields of nursing and midwifery and I love being able to see the growth and development of each woman that comes through our office doors. I also truly enjoy assisting with mother and baby visits.

Aleah

Aleah

Hello! My name is Aleah and I have been a home birth nurse, educator and photographer for the past ten years. I have always been passionate about natural birth and wellness, and my love for this work only grew after having my two boys, Jax and Dylan.

I've been a part of WomanKind since nearly the beginning, and you might see me in the office or at your birth and postpartum visits. I teach our childbirth education classes in group and private settings, so if this is your first baby, we will get to know each other then! If you would like, you may also schedule with me for newborn/family photos, birth announcement cards, Christmas cards, etc, which is always so much fun. I feel very grateful to collaborate with these amazing women to serve our community, and honored to be a part of this special time for your family!

In my free time, I love going on adventures with my family and our cat, Jasper. I enjoy traveling, camping, writing poetry, roller skating, chasing storms and coaching football.

Angela

Angela

The first 8 years of my nursing career were spent in acute care, long term care, and hospice. My first OB job was for almost 10 years at Women and Babies Hospital in Couplet Care.

In 2016, I started at Wellspan York Hospital in Maternity, where I still am today. I earned a lactation certification in 2017, and have been NRP certified for 16 years.

I started attending home births 3 years ago. Being part of such a private and intimate time in their lives is an honor!

I have two daughters who are 18 and 13. We live in Mount Joy with our dog Piper and two cats. I love babies, puppies, cats and horses!

Vanessa

My name is Vanessa and I work as a Birth Assistant with WomanKind Midwifery. I have been a Registered Nurse for four years and have loved having the privilege of caring for patients and their families. Since I had a home birth with my son in 2021, I developed a passion for helping other mothers and babies through their birth journeys. I thoroughly enjoy every opportunity I am given to assist Marielle with bringing new life into the world!

Emily

Hello! My name is Emily and I am incredibly grateful to work alongside Marielle at WomanKind Midwifery.  I am a Registered Nurse of over 18 years, and have been assisting at home births for the past 5 years. I have two beautiful children and one extremely handsome tuxedo cat.

I am passionate about maternal/child health and breastfeeding, which led me to pursue an advanced certification in lactation in 2016.  As an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Counselor) I saw the need for additional lactation support, and decided to open my own private practice. I am incredibly thankful to provide in-home lactation support to Lancaster County and surrounding areas.
